   The memory of the day
   That you said “Goodbye”
   And left me alone
   Just wanting to die
   
   The memory of the pain
   When I next saw your face
   And you turned away
   Filled with disgrace
   
   The memory of you
   As you walked away
   And just left me there
   With nothing to say
   
   The memories begin to fade
   Until I can no longer see your face
   You leave me alone again
   Just staring into space
